Plastic Surgery and Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA Plans)

Now that the end of the year is approaching, don’t forget that many Healthcare Savings Accounts ( HSA Plans ) allow you to use excess funds to pay for Plastic Surgery procedures. Many plans are now structured so that if you have money left over at the end of the year, you can use that for elective plastic surgery procedures of your choice. The amount left in your account can offset the cost of many cosmetic surgery operations or injectables.

Some plans do not allow the funds to be used and they must roll over to the next year or be lost. You will need to check with your benefits administrator, or whoever monitors your HSA healthcare plan to see which type of plan you have.

At Ohio Plastic Surgeons, our patient care coordinators will be happy to go over the details of how to access and use these funds. Please call us at 614 326-4661 with any questions you might have. As always, your consultation is complimentary and at that time we can better answer specific questions you may have.

Happy Holidays.
